M1X COURSE
This course, designed to make motorcycle riding an enjoyable experience, is taught by our certified, professional instructors. Learn to ride on our motorcycles. We have a professionally maintained fleet of a variety of styles of motorcycles which are provided for the Gearing Up training. All sessions cover a variety of theory and practical applications. Topics will include: defensive motorcycle riding, slow speed manoeuvres, acceleration and deceleration, push steering, emergency braking, and much more. A valid M1 licence is required to take this course. You may register prior to possession of your M1 licence but you MUST possess it at the time of the course. Students must provide and wear full riding gear. Dress for the slide not the ride!
Course fee $825.00 including taxes. Please note that there is a $50 cancellation fee.
M2X COURSE
The M2 Exit Course is for the rider with an M2 Class Licence and some motorcycle riding experience, who is ready to upgrade to their Full M Licence. To qualify for the M2 Exit Program, riders must have a valid M2 Licence that has been held for a minimum of 18 months if you took the M1X course with MSTO-NWO or another MTO approved motorcycle safety program to obtain your M2, or for a minimum of 22 months if you did not take an approved training program. A M2 licence is valid for five (5) years from the date of its upgrade.
Students who are not eligible for M2 Exit will not be permitted to participate. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they are eligible for the course. If not eligible you will not be entitled to a refund.
Our curriculum is MTO approved, and our MTO certified instructors will work with you to further develop your on road skills and safety.
Students must supply their own motorcycle (or motor-tricycle) for this training. The motorcycle must be fully capable of reaching highway speeds and must meet safety standard, must be equipped with a currently validated licence plate and must be currently insured. Students must provide and wear full riding gear. Dress for the slide not the ride!
For safety reasons, students who are not wearing the appropriate equipment will not be permitted to ride and will be withdrawn from the course. Students will not be permitted to participate with an illegal, not roadworthy or mechanically unfit motorcycle. If students are withdrawn under these circumstances, they will not be entitled to a refund of fees.
This course involves classroom theory, range or parking lot training and a road or street portion. Upon completion students will be given the M2 Exit Road Test by Ministry of Transportation-certified instructors/examiners. Students must have a valid M2 with them during the riding portions of the course.
Our instructors are all long-time riders with many years of training experience, who are trained and certified by MTO to deliver M2 Exit instruction and testing.
M2 Exit (M2X or M2X(M)) Licence testing takes place on the same day as the training. The road test is approximately 45 minutes long and is conducted on an individual basis. Upon successful completion of the road test, you will be entered into the MTO’s electronic system as qualified to upgrade to your full M. You will then need to visit an MTO DriveTest Centre to complete the upgrade to M Class, with no further tests or fees.

M1X(M) MOTOR TRICYCLE COURSE (SPYDER / RYKER)
This ten(10) hour course is designed to teach the novice or experienced rider how to ride a 3-wheeled motorcycle. This course takes the rider through the basic skill training including turning skills, shifting through gears, effective braking and controlling vehicle speed. Includes in classroom learning and riding skill practice in the parking lot. Students are offered a skill evaluation conducted at the end to move students on to M2 (M).
The M1X(M) course is also applicable to Harley Davidson trikes.
Note: Students must provide and wear full riding gear and must hold a M1.

ATV/UTV COURSE
The ATV/UTV courses are taught by our experienced, certified, professional instructors and sanctioned by Canada Safety Council. The courses meet recognized standards for industry as well as recreation. Stay tuned for more information.
